PTFE adhesive tape is made of fiberglass fabric coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, commonly known under brand name Teflon) and  adhesive. This tape is strong, flexible and resistant to both low and high temperatures: from -70°C to +260°C.

PTFE adhesive tape does not exhibit friction, i.e. it does not accumulate molten plastic residue on its surface, therefore is often used as a protective layer  on thermal packaging equipment, bag edge sealing and similar tools. It does not leave adhesive residue or damage the surface after removal.
