Self-amalgamating rubber tape is commonly used to seal, repair or protect pipes, hoses, cables from external influences. Due to a special chemical bond, the layers of self-amalgamating tape adhere to each other when wrapped without heating or using adhesive and form a permanent mold. The tape is very flexible and elastic, which is convenient when working with uneven surfaces. It does not require a special dispenser: only a cutter is needed. When using the tape, it is recommended to stretch it a little and wrap it so that each layer overlaps with the previous one by half. This will ensure a maximally strong and homogeneous mold.

Self-amalgamating tape is resistant to various weather conditions, heat, UV rays and oxidation among other properties.
